Greenlea Premium Meats supplies more than 40 countries, as well as New Zealand customers, with more than 700 cuts sourced from the company’s mainly central North Island suppliers of prime grass-fed beef.
A Hamilton-based family business with a staunch family culture, Greenlea Premier Meats has strong links with the community. The Egan family like to actively lend a hand when they see a gap in community resources. It is even possible Greenlea is better known to Waikato and central North Island people as a community support champion than for its innovative prime beef business.
The Egan family set up the Greenlea Foundation Trust to help fund a range of charitable organisations including: principal sponsor of the Greenlea Taupo-based rescue helicopter; education trust First Foundation; Kidscan; Enrich+; St. Johns, the Salvation Army and Mobility Dogs. And all this philanthropy is delivered steadily and quickly, without a fuss.
